Defyne Plastic Surgery, founded by Harvard-trained microsurgeon Dr. Oren Tessler, offers a patient-centered model that combines advanced medical techniques with international perspectives.
The Scottsdale-based practice brings together surgeons trained in both Canada and the United States, creating a collaborative approach that emphasizes cultural understanding and individualized care, according to a press release.

Defyne’s team includes:
*Dr. Oren Tessler — Founder of Defyne Plastic Surgery, trained at McGill University and Harvard University. He developed the Defyne Method, a minimally invasive approach to regenerative results without general anesthesia, and co-led the first U.S. hand transplant.
*Dr. Nathan Jowett — Facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon, former Harvard Medical School faculty member, internationally recognized for expertise in facial reanimation and aesthetics, with more than 90 peer-reviewed publications.
*Dr. Alexander Golger — Toronto-trained plastic surgeon and former chief of plastic surgery at Lakeridge Hospital, known for combining reconstructive and aesthetic techniques with a patient-first philosophy.
*Dr. David Mok — Montreal-trained surgeon with 13 years of experience and more than 10,000 procedures, specializing in breast, body and facial aesthetics.
