Banner Urgent Care has been named the preferred urgent care provider for the Arizona Interscholastic Association, the governing body for all Arizona high school athletics programs.
Through the partnership, Banner Urgent Care address locations and contact information will be included on co-branded sports physical forms for student athletes, according to a press release.
Additionally, Banner Urgent Care will be recognized on the AZPreps365 website, as well as during certain games and all AIA sports telecasts, the release states.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with the AIA for this exciting opportunity to provide expert care for Arizona’s high school student-athletes,” said Amanda Fisher, senior director for Banner Urgent Care. “As a leading urgent care provider in Arizona, we look forward to being there for our communities and young athletes for any health needs that may arise — from sports physicals to ankle sprains — so they can perform at their highest ability.”
Banner Urgent Care operates more than 40 locations across the Valley and in Tucson that offer walk-in visits, online check-in and telehealth options daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
“It’s a privilege to have Banner Urgent Care become the AIA’s preferred urgent care partner,” AIA Executive Director Dr. Jim Dean said in a prepared staement. “Banner’s top-notch facilities and medical professionals have been serving student-athletes in our communities for years. Their outstanding commitment to excellence will help all our athletes perform to the best of their abilities for a long time to come.”
