The Japanese restaurant will feature a selection of caviar-focused menu items from July 13-19 in recognition of National Caviar Day, which is observed July 18, according to a press release.
Featured dishes will include Toro Tartar with Caviar, Beef Tartar with Caviar, Oysters with Caviar, Caviar Tacos, Monkfish Pate with Caviar, Yellowtail Jalapeño with Caviar and Toro Yuzu Miso.
Guests also can order the Caviar Set, a $200 offering that includes Black Sturgeon Caviar served with Crispy Rice Cakes, Fried Capers, Minced White Onion and Garlic, along with Yuzu Soy, Jalapeño Dressing and Maui Onion Salsa.
The special menu is designed to introduce guests to the restaurant’s approach to incorporating caviar into a variety of dishes while highlighting the Japanese tradition of omotenashi, or hospitality.
Nobu chefs are available to discuss topics including tips for first-time caviar diners, the culinary qualities different types of caviar bring to dishes, and recommended food and beverage pairings.
