The Tempe Chamber of Commerce announced the winners of the 2026 Business Excellence Awards at its annual luncheon recognizing local businesses and community leaders, according to a press release.
“These remarkable individuals and organizations represent the very best of Tempe. Their perseverance, creativity and commitment strengthen and energize our community,” said Robin Arredondo-Savage, president and CEO of the Tempe Chamber of Commerce.
The following awards were presented:
Tempe Leadership Community Leader of the Year: Dave Tally (posthumous)
Volunteer of the Year: Patty Alfano
Spirit of Tempe: Harvey Gibson
Small Business of the Year: Mulberry Health
Large Business of the Year: Aurora Behavioral Health
Nonprofit of the Year: Tempe Community Action Agency
Innovation & Sustainability: United Dairymen Association
Cool Place to Work: Crest Insurance Group
First Responder of the Year: Detective Jordan Larson, Tempe Police Department
The event was held at Culinary Dropout in Tempe and featured Nicole Crites of AZFamily as emcee.
