TheaterWorks is expanding its MainStage season from six productions to seven for the 2026–2027 season, broadening its annual lineup of performances, according to a press release.
The seven-show lineup includes:
● Annie: from July 10 to July 26, 2026
● Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat: from Aug. 28 to Sept. 13, 2026
● The Addams Family: from Oct. 23 to Nov. 7, 2026
● A Christmas Carol: from Dec. 4 to Dec. 20, 2026
● Seussical: from Feb. 5 to Feb. 21, 2027
● Into the Woods: from March 26 to April 11, 2027
● Shrek The Musical: from May 14 to May 30, 2027
“This season is truly one of the most ambitious and exciting lineups in TheaterWorks history,” Paul Pedersen, director of patron experience, said. “Expanding to seven MainStage productions allows us to bring even more magic, spectacle, and unforgettable stories to our audiences while continuing to grow the theatrical experience our community has come to love.”
The season includes a mix of family-oriented titles such as Annie and Shrek The Musical, along with productions including Seussical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Addams Family and Into the Woods. A Christmas Carol will return as part of the theater’s holiday programming.
Single tickets for all seven productions will go on sale May 29. TheaterWorks also is offering subscription options that provide early access to tickets.
Six-show fixed subscription
The six-show fixed subscription includes tickets to six productions, with A Christmas Carol available as an add-on. Subscribers receive priority access to seats and additional benefits, including 20% off bar and concessions purchases during the season.
FLEX pass subscriptions
The FLEX Pass option allows patrons to purchase six or 12 tickets in advance and use them throughout the season. The option is designed to provide more flexibility in selecting performances.
