Caldwell County BBQ has opened its first West Valley location at 8315 W Washington St. in Peoria
The Peoria restaurant is the company’s third location and its first expansion beyond Gilbert and Queen Creek, according to a press release.
The new restaurant is a ground‑up construction project totaling 4,800 square feet, with an additional 1,200‑square‑foot patio designed for outdoor dining. The space includes indoor and outdoor bars, televisions, bi‑fold window doors and a private dining room accommodating up to 34 guests.
“We’re thrilled to bring Caldwell County BBQ to Peoria and share our passion for authentic barbecue,” said Travis Taylor, owner of Caldwell County BBQ. “From the welcoming atmosphere to the slow‑cooked meats, our goal is to make Caldwell County BBQ a true destination for great food and memorable experiences here in the rapidly expanding West Valley.”
Peoria Mayor Jason Beck is expected to attend the ribbon cutting and will recognize the restaurant’s role in ongoing downtown revitalization efforts.
“We’re excited to welcome Caldwell County BBQ to Peoria’s Historic Downtown. This grand opening kicks off the long‑awaited revitalization of our downtown area and displays the importance of attracting businesses that invest in our community, create jobs and attract new visitors,” said Jason Beck, mayor of Peoria.
“I am thrilled to see this vision finally coming to life and to watch Downtown Peoria continue to grow as an important destination within our city.”
Following the ribbon cutting, the restaurant will open to the public at 11 a.m. An after‑party celebration with live music will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The family‑friendly event will include inflatables for children and yard games on the patio.
The menu features Central Texas‑style barbecue, including 12‑hour smoked brisket, St. Louis‑cut ribs, pulled pork, jalapeño cheddar sausage and smoked turkey, along with scratch‑made sides such as corn casserole, pinto beans and macaroni and cheese.
