Wespac Construction celebrated the ribbon cutting and grand opening of the new U.S. headquarters and manufacturing facility for XNRGY Climate Systems at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.
The 275,000-square-foot facility represents the first phase of XNRGY’s four-phase master plan, which will ultimately deliver 1 million square feet of sustainable manufacturing space, according to a press release.
The site is located within Gateway East, a master-planned development on the east side of Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, offering access to major transportation routes including the Loop 202 Freeway, State Route 24 and nearby Ray, Ellsworth and Pecos roads.
“As we celebrate XNRGY’s grand opening, we’re honored to see this visionary project come to life,” said Kirk Jonovich, vice president and market leader for Wespac Construction. “This facility not only reflects XNRGY’s commitment to innovation and sustainability, but it also marks a significant moment in the continued growth of this dynamic airport business park.”
Mr. Jonovich expressed appreciation to project partners, including The Boyer Company, Gensler, Dibble Engineering, CarusoTurleyScott and IMEG, for their role in bringing the facility from concept to completion.
The project strengthens the region’s position as an emerging hub for advanced industries and sets the stage for continued growth in the Phoenix-Mesa community.
