Loving Hut Peoria will celebrate its grand opening from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 at 8565 Grand Avenue.
The launch coincides with World Vegan Day and introduces the Loving Hut Vegan Kitchen concept—a reimagined approach to plant-based dining, according to a press release.
Nearly 70% of the menu is new, featuring recipes passed down through generations. Most dishes are priced between $2.95 and $9.95, with only a few reaching $13.95, the release states.
“This is a space we’ve built for joy, community and nourishment,” said Linh La, who operates several Loving Hut locations across Arizona. “With our Vegan Kitchen model, we’re sharing authentic family recipes—from Mama Ngan’s South to Auntie Quy Nguyen’s Central Vietnam—making them delicious, affordable and accessible.”
The opening celebration will include a 1 p.m. visit from Better Piggies Rescue and its ambassador pig, Wilbur. Ten percent of opening-day proceeds will benefit the nonprofit’s work.
Guests will enter a “Secret Garden” setting, designed with sustainability in mind. According to the press release, 85 percent of the décor and equipment has been repurposed. The space includes books, board games and a patio area for gathering.
Loving Hut Peoria will also continue the chain’s Pay-It-Forward program, which has provided more than 90,000 pounds of food to unhoused individuals and families. The location will offer complimentary meals daily to anyone in need.
“Watching our guests come together to ensure no one goes hungry gives us incredible hope,” Ms. La said. “It proves that compassion is contagious and that food can be one of the most powerful ways to spark it.”
