Carol Schillne and Cole Schillne of ORION Investment Real Estate facilitated a retail lease that will bring The Mick Brasserie to Higley Commons in Gilbert.
Representing tenant Essex Hospitality, the Schillne Retail Team secured the lease for The Mick Brasserie at 3071 E. Ray Road.
The Schillne Retail Team represented The Mick Brasserie, a Scottsdale restaurant that will expand with a second location in a 4,400-square-foot space with a patio at Higley Commons, a mixed-use development featuring 276 multifamily residences and ground-floor retail near the Agritopia area. The restaurant is expected to open in the first quarter of 2027, according to a press release.
The landlord, Mill Creek Residential of Boca Raton, Florida, is developing Higley Commons as a mixed-use community that includes multifamily housing, retail space, courtyards and outdoor gathering areas.

Led by restaurateur John Krause and chef Brent Menke, The Mick Brasserie draws inspiration from art, travel and social dining. The restaurant’s wine program includes selections from France, Europe and other regions, paired with a menu featuring French brasserie influences.
