StrataTech Education Group welcomes James Baird as senior vice president of corporate development

StrataTech Education Group is announcing the appointment of James Baird as its new senior vice president of corporate development.

Mr. Baird brings a wealth of experience in driving strategic growth, fostering industry partnerships, and expanding market reach specifically in the skilled trades education space, according to a press release.

As senior VP of corporate development, Mr. Baird will lead StrataTech’s initiatives in forging new partnerships and enhancing existing relationships to drive impactful results, the release states.

“James’s impressive background in business development and his commitment to continuous growth make him a perfect fit for StrataTech,” said Mary Kelly, CEO of StrataTech Education Group. “His ability to cultivate strategic partnerships and drive meaningful results aligns with our vision of expanding opportunities in skilled trades education. We are thrilled to have him on our team.”

Mr. Baird holds a bachelor of science in international business and an MBA from Utah Valley University, where he graduated summa cum laude.

“I have admired StrataTech Education Group’s longevity and innovation for years and am excited I get the opportunity to contribute to its mission of expanding access to students who want to build a strong career in the skilled trades,” Mr. Baird said. “I will leverage my experience to help drive growth, cultivate strong industry partnerships, and create opportunities for our students and businesses alike.”
