Sasha Graham, creator and host of the award-winning podcast, “Sports Will Save Us All,” is United Cerebral Palsy UCP of Central Arizona’s newest community ambassador.

Ms. Graham’s passion for adaptive sports and using her platform to ensure sports are accessible, recognized and celebrated for all, is one of the reasons she was chosen to join the ambassador team at UCP of Central Arizona.

She launched her podcast in November 2022 to bring listeners sports stories about the incredibly unifying nature of sports and the way sports affect our lives. To date, Ms. Graham has produced 150 episodes of “Sports Will Save Us All” and is ranked in the top 5% of podcasts globally.

“I am honored to join the UCP ambassador team,” Ms. Graham said in a prepared statement. “The organization’s goal of helping each of its clients create a life without limits aligns perfectly with my own overall values and, more specifically, with my belief that sports are for everybody and for every brain. I have been very impressed by the quality of UCP’s events and facilities and look forward to using my platform to help further their mission.”

In 2024, Ms. Graham interviewed several UCP of Central Arizona ambassadors including Charlie Duffy and Jack Florez, high school athletes living with cerebral palsy, Steven Hunter, retired NBA center; and Camille Ridley, UCP of Central Arizona Vice President of Marketing and Development.

“As we grow our community ambassador program, we strive to harness the power of influential community members, like Sasha, to raise awareness and make a significant impact on the communities we serve,” said UCP of Central Arizona CEO, Kentay Garvin. “Sasha’s dedication to inclusion and storytelling makes her a perfect fit for UCP’s mission. With the support of our ambassadors, stakeholders and community members, we can continue to increase opportunities to inspire, uplift and empower individuals to support the work we do every day across the Valley.”

The goal of a UCP of Central Arizona community ambassador program is to advance the nonprofit organization’s cause, increase awareness of the work being done by UCP for individuals with motor disorders and create a positive impact on the community.
