Roman Empire Agency is announcing a partnership with the Arizona Diamondbacks, introducing a sensory room at Chase Field for the 2025 MLB season.

This new initiative follows the success of the agency’s sensory room at State Farm Stadium, which opened in September 2024, offering a space dedicated to providing a sensory-friendly experience for fans with autism or sensory sensitivities, according to a press release.

The sensory room at Chase Field is found on the Diamond Level in left field and was designed by Roman Empire Agency’s founder, Gabriela Salcido, and her husband, Anthony Salcido. The room will feature sensory toys, interactive elements, comfortable seating, soundproofing, and a trained staff to assist visitors. For fans who wish to enjoy the game from their seats, the room will provide sensory items such as fidget toys and noise-canceling headphones.

“We are thrilled to bring this important initiative to Chase Field, expanding access for families and fans who have sensory processing needs,” Ms. Salcido said. “The sensory room at State Farm Stadium has received incredible feedback, and we are excited to partner with the Arizona Diamondbacks to ensure fans at Chase Field can enjoy a similar experience while cheering on their favorite team.”

As part of this MLB league-wide effort, Kulture City has supported the build-out of the sensory room, further enhancing its inclusivity and accessibility. “We are thrilled to allow more fans to experience the magic of attending a Diamondbacks baseball game with the launch of our Sensory Room in partnership with Roman Empire Agency,” said Derrick Hall, president, CEO & general partner of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

“What makes the occasion even more special is that we get to open this new room during Autism Awareness Month and our own Autism Awareness Night, further emphasizing the importance of our commitment to being a safe, accommodating ballpark for everyone.”
