Cox wants to award 10 Arizona students each with a $5,000.00 Cox Diversity Scholarship.
This is up from $3,500 per student in 2024, according to a press release.
For students and their parents, knowing college start dates are a few short months away can feel both exciting and overwhelming. Securing the resources to make their dreams a reality can be one of the biggest challenges.
Since 2014, Cox has awarded more than $500,000 in diversity scholarships to students in the West region, the release states.

“We are honored to invest in Arizona students with diverse backgrounds, helping them pursue their dreams and build brighter futures. The Cox Diversity Scholarship program is open to high school seniors expected to graduate with a minimum 2.5 grade-point average who have demonstrated leadership and community service.
In 2024 Marisol Cortes, a new grad from Valley Vista High School, received a Cox Diversity Scholarship to attend ASU where she planned to pursue a major in Computer Science. “I’m very grateful to have received this scholarship as it has knocked down the barrier of financial stability,” said Cortes.
