The Home Builders Association of Central Arizona has announced the winners of the 37th annual MAME awards held May 13 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge where more than 500 industry leaders were present to celebrate the best of the home building industry over the past year.

A finalist in 18 categories, Scottsdale-based Camelot Homes was honored with seven awards, including the sought-after ‘Home of the Year’ category, which went to one of the models at Camelot’s Paradigm community.

The MAME Awards recognize builders, developers, architects, interior designers, sales and marketing professionals, and construction leaders for their achievements, and this year, over 20 builders participated in more than 60 categories, according to a press release.

Third-generation home builder Trent Hancock, managing director for Camelot Homes, led the development of the north Phoenix Paradigm luxury community.

“Paradigm was the first Camelot project I’ve had the opportunity to lead from start to finish, so it was extremely gratifying to be recognized with these awards,” Mr. Hancock said in a prepared statement. “That said, credit goes to the entire team – my partner Joseph Bruner at Circle Road, Cavin Costello at The Ranch Mine, the team at Studio Dwell, and the Camelot crew who built an amazing product with the attention to detail that Camelot puts into every one of our communities.”
