KNCT Athletics LLC, a baseball training company focused on developing elite and professional pitchers, has leased a 5,100-square-foot facility in Tempe as part of its continued growth in the private player development industry.
The lease was negotiated by Joe Jones, an advisor with LevRose Commercial Real Estate, who represented the tenant in securing space at 1140 W. Alameda Drive, Suite 1, within Broadway Industrial Park.
Mr. Jones, who works on the industrial team led by Mark Cassell and Landon McKernan alongside advisor Cameron Miller, drew upon his background as a professional baseball pitcher to identify a facility tailored to the company’s training needs.
Before joining LevRose, Mr. Jones spent nine seasons in professional baseball, pitching in organizations including the Arizona Diamondbacks, Boston Red Sox, Toronto Blue Jays and Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks.
“Representing the tenant in this transaction was a full circle moment for me,” said Joe Jones, advisor with LevRose Commercial Real Estate. “I was able to combine my expertise in baseball and commercial leasing to successfully represent a growing business in an industry that has meant a lot to me. This deal will stick with me throughout my career in commercial real estate, and I cannot wait to see the space once it is transformed and up and running.”
The move marks a significant milestone for KNCT Athletics, which previously operated from a subleased space inside a performance training facility. The dedicated facility will allow the company to expand its operations and establish a stronger presence in the increasingly competitive baseball training market.
The new location will feature two pitching mounds, a weight room, warm-up and cardio areas, flexible training space, storage areas and offices designed specifically for high-level baseball instruction and player development.
According to Mr. Jones, the facility represents more than additional square footage. The space will give KNCT Athletics greater control over its training environment while supporting future growth and enhanced services for professional and aspiring professional athletes.
Found in Broadway Industrial Park, the property offers convenient access to Interstate 10, U.S. 60, SR 143, Loop 101 and Loop 202. The fully air-conditioned end-cap suite includes reception space, two private offices, a kitchenette, a restroom, grade-level loading, truck wells and fenced yard areas.
The transaction reflects continued demand for specialized industrial flex space in the Valley as growing businesses seek facilities tailored to their operational requirements.
