Priya Radhakrishnan, MD, an internal medicine physician and HonorHealth’s chief academic officer, has been elected to Mastership in the American College of Physicians, one of the profession’s highest honors.
Mastership recognizes physicians who have made distinguished contributions to medicine through patient care, medical education, leadership, research and service to the profession. Dr. Radhakrishnan is one of 66 physicians elected to Mastership for 2026-27, according to a press release.
Dr. Radhakrishnan also serves as vice dean for clinical affairs and graduate medical education at ASU’s John Shufeldt School of Medicine and Medical Engineering. Through her leadership roles at HonorHealth and ASU, she helps connect physician training with the needs of patients and communities while preparing future physicians to serve Arizona.
“This is such an amazing honor, and it makes me think of the patients, colleagues and mentors who have shaped my career,” Dr. Radhakrishnan said. “They have taught me to stay curious, listen carefully and keep the person at the center of every decision. Those lessons continue to guide me.”
Her career spans more than three decades in medicine, and she continues to care for patients alongside her academic and leadership responsibilities.
“Dr. Radhakrishnan brings compassion, curiosity and a strong sense of purpose to her work,” HonorHealth President Dr. John Neil said. “Her contributions have had a lasting impact across HonorHealth and the communities we serve. We’re proud to see her receive this distinguished and well-deserved honor.”
