Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus-Pine Council will expand its cookie lineup during the 2027 Girl Scout Cookie Season with the introduction of its first dog treat and its first cookie developed for families managing certain food allergies.

The new products, Patch Pals and Girl Scout Sparkables, will be available exclusively online for shipping during the 2027 cookie season, joining longtime favorites such as Thin Mints, Samoas and Tagalongs, according to a press release.

Patch Pals were developed in partnership with BARK and are soft-baked, blueberry muffin-flavored dog treats. Each cookie features one of four patch-inspired designs based on popular Girl Scout experiences. The treats were created to celebrate the connection between Girl Scouts and their pets.

Girl Scout Sparkables, developed with Partake, are crunchy oatmeal cookies containing chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles. The cookie is the first in the Girl Scout lineup designed for families navigating certain food allergies and is produced in a facility designed to avoid the nine major food allergens, according to a press release.

“These two new cookies stay true to our Girl Scout traditions while giving the community even more opportunities to enjoy delicious cookies and invest in local girls and their futures,” said Mary Mitchell, co-CEO of Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus-Pine Council. “One hundred percent of cookie proceeds raised stay within our Council, helping girls go to camp, travel with their troop, explore STEM programs and lead service projects for causes they are passionate about.”

The new offerings were developed in part through feedback from Girl Scouts across the country who advocated for a cookie lineup that better reflects the needs and interests of the communities they serve, according to a press release.

The additions come after a strong 2026 cookie season in central and northern Arizona, where Girl Scouts sold more than 2.3 million boxes across more than 90 communities. More than 6,800 Girl Scouts participated in the program, averaging 339 boxes sold per participant.

“More than 6,800 Girl Scouts Council-wide took part in the 2026 cookie season, learning how to set goals, manage money, make decisions and communicate with customers,” said Christina Spicer, co-CEO of Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus-Pine Council. “In addition to in-person booths, girls also manage online shops and connect with customers through their own digital storefronts. The online-exclusive Patch Pals and Girl Scout Sparkables give them something new to introduce and market in that space.”

The Girl Scout Cookie Program is recognized as the world’s largest girl-led entrepreneurial program and is designed to help participants develop business, financial and leadership skills.
