The 36th annual Bell Lexus North Scottsdale Copperstate 1000, presented by the Men’s Arts Council, concluded its 2026 rally April 12–15 with a 1,000-mile tour across Arizona marking the 100th anniversary of Route 66.

The vintage road rally brought together participants from around the world and featured vehicles manufactured prior to the 1974 model year, according to a press release.

The event included sports, racing, classic and grand touring automobiles traveling through desert, mountain and rural routes with scheduled stops highlighting Arizona communities.

“This year’s rally was about creating more memorable experiences both on and off the road,” Desi Allazetta, Copperstate 1000 chair, said. “From celebrating the centennial of Route 66 to the incredible camaraderie among participants, the energy throughout the week was something truly special.”

The rally opened Saturday evening with a dinner event at Tempe Diablo Stadium featuring themed elements and activities for participants.

On Sunday, drivers departed Tempe and traveled toward Laughlin.

Monday’s Route 66 segment included travel through Oatman, where participants stopped in the historic mining town, as well as a visit to the Route 66 Museum in Kingman.

Tuesday’s route included a breakfast stop at Bearizona Wildlife Park, where participants drove through the park, followed by a lunch stop at Meteor Crater.

The rally concluded Wednesday evening at Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale with a closing event that included dinner, awards and a silent auction. A signed vintage Route 66 sign was auctioned during the event, raising $7,000 for Phoenix Art Museum.

Participants represented the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe, with vehicles from manufacturers including Porsche, Ferrari, Jaguar and Maserati.

“The Copperstate 1000 continues to deliver a world-class experience unlike any other automotive event,” Brent Berge, CEO and sole owner of Berge Auto Group, said. “It’s incredible to see how this rally brings together enthusiasts, celebrates Arizona, and supports the arts all at the same time.”
Bell Lexus North Scottsdale has served as the event’s title sponsor for more than 20 years and provides support vehicles and logistical assistance.
