Tempe Diablos Charities are inviting community members to audition for the chance to perform the National Anthem during the upcoming Spring Training season at Tempe Diablo Stadium.
Auditions will take place Saturday, January 11, at 10 a.m., at the main gate entrance of Tempe Diablo Stadium. This exciting opportunity is open to performers aged 16 and older, and a valid ID is required for age verification.
For those unable to attend in person, video submissions are being accepted. Performers can email their auditions to baseballvolunteers@tempediablos.org for consideration.
There will be 15 total spots to be filled from Feb. 22 to March 25. At this time, all games are day games, beginning at 1 p.m.
The Diablos encourage all respectful renditions of the National Anthem, whether performed vocally or instrumentally. Singers and musicians alike are invited to showcase their patriotic talent and be part of the vibrant atmosphere of Spring Training baseball.
“This is a unique opportunity for performers in our community to shine on a big stage and contribute to the energy and tradition of Spring Training,” said Brad Cox, president of the Tempe Diablos. “We look forward to seeing the creativity and passion of this year’s auditions.”
