
Tempe Diablos Charities offers $500K in 2023 grant funding

The Tempe Diablos Charities and Tempe Diablos held its annual Celebrate Giving event on Monday, Oct. 9.
The event was held at the Desert Botanical Gardens officials brought together nearly 70 organizations that have collectively received almost $500,000 in grant funding in 2023.
Many notable guests were in attendance, including the elected and municipal leaders of Tempe:
- Tempe Councilwoman Arlene Chin;
- Tempe Councilwoman Berdetta Hodge;
- Tempe Vice Mayor Jennifer Adams;
- Tempe City Manager Rosa Inchausti; and
- Tempe Deputy City Manager Keith Burke.
Distinguished speakers at the event were Steve Henderson from Ballet Arizona and Dawn Garza from Lily’s Pad, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children battling leukemia. Representatives of the Tempe Diablos say these two organizations represent the great diversity of support to continue to make Tempe an extraordinary city.
The Celebrate Giving event serves as a tribute to the remarkable impact the Tempe Diablos make in the community by supporting a wide range of initiatives that closely align with their mission.
