Ganem Companies, a Phoenix‑based construction firm, has appointed Emily Ganem as president as part of a leadership transition aimed at supporting continued growth and operational focus.
Ms. Ganem previously served as executive vice president and will oversee day‑to‑day operations, project delivery and organizational leadership as the company advances its long‑term strategy, according to a press release.
“Stepping into the role of president is both a responsibility and an opportunity. As a woman in an industry that continues to progress, I’m proud to lead with clarity, discipline and intention,” Ms. Ganem said. “Our focus is strengthening how we operate so we can deliver exceptional projects more efficiently, without losing the values, relationships and quality that define the Ganem Difference. A key priority for me is ensuring our Project Delivery Team, spanning preconstruction, project management and the field, continues operating as one highly collaborative unit aligned around a single goal: delivering exceptional projects for our clients.”
As part of the transition, Chief Executive Officer Parker Ganem and former President Mick Marden, now chief visionary officer, will move into board roles. The change is intended to allow the executive team to focus on execution while maintaining strategic oversight.
Ms. Ganem has expanded her leadership responsibilities across the organization over several years, working closely with Mr. Marden through ongoing mentorship and gaining experience in departmental leadership and organizational strategy.
“It has been an honor to serve as president during a time when Ganem implemented the systems, processes and structure necessary to support the level of growth we were experiencing,” Mr. Marden said. “Emily has consistently demonstrated the clarity, leadership and strategic perspective needed for this role. She understands how to empower a strong team while maintaining the discipline required to scale an organization responsibly. I fully support her leadership and look forward to continuing to contribute to the company from the board level.”
Founded in 2000 by Mr. Ganem, Ganem Companies provides preconstruction, construction management, construction management at risk and design‑build services across Arizona. The firm works on commercial, industrial, storage, restaurant, hospitality and tenant improvement projects.
“This transition allows us to do what we do best,” Mr. Ganem said. “Emily’s leadership, discipline and discernment of vision give our team the confidence and structure needed as we continue to grow. I’m incredibly proud of how she has stepped into this role and grateful for Mick’s leadership in helping build the foundation that makes this next phase possible. This transition positions Ganem Companies for longevity, not just growth.”
The leadership transition also includes an expanded role for Keith Doyle and the addition of Connor Bramel to the executive team.
