The Arizona Housing Fund (AZHF), a private-sector fundraising initiative created to reduce homelessness in Arizona, has named Pioneer Title Agency its 2025 Partner of the Year.
The award recognizes Pioneer Title Agency’s support for funding homes for Arizona residents experiencing homelessness, according to a press release. AZHF founder Howard Epstein presented the award during Pioneer Title’s Dec. 3 company meeting.
Pioneer Title Agency offers clients the option to donate $25 or more to the Arizona Housing Fund at closing and matches donations dollar-for-dollar up to the first $100,000. As of 2025, Pioneer and its clients have contributed more than $150,000 to the fund.
“We believe everyone deserves to have a place to call home,” said Michele Stalker, director of strategic development for Pioneer Title Agency.
“With housing costs on the rise and a shortage of affordable housing available, the number of people facing homelessness in our area is at an all-time high. We are proud to support the Arizona Housing Fund in its effort to end the cycle of homelessness for low-income individuals and families, while creating a pathway to permanent housing with supportive services that ensure better outcomes for those who need it most.”
To date, the Arizona Housing Fund has raised more than $2 million and awarded $1.9 million in grants to 11 Arizona nonprofits for housing projects that will provide permanent, supportive and affordable housing for hundreds of Arizonans in need.
“Pioneer Title has been an incredible supporter of the Arizona Housing Fund through the years,” said Mr. Epstein. “They stepped up as the first title agency to incorporate our Escrow Donation Program into their home closing process, offering every client the option of supporting the cause. This award recognizes the commitment of the Pioneer team to help fund critically needed housing for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.”
