Rose Law Group PC announced that trial attorney Thomas “Tom” A. Gilson has joined the firm as partner and co-chair of the litigation department, where he will lead alongside longtime partner Shelton “Tony” Freeman.

“I’m excited to join forces with Tom as a partner in leadership at Rose Law Group. We look forward to elevating our litigation practice together and guiding our team toward new heights of service and success,” said Mr. Freeman.

Mr. Gilson brings more than three decades of experience handling commercial disputes, including cases involving financial fraud, professional liability and insurance coverage. His practice spans federal and state courts, and he holds an AV Preeminent Lawyer rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

He has also been recognized by Phoenix Magazine as a top lawyer in commercial litigation and by Southwest Super Lawyers in business litigation, according to a press release.

“Tom is an exceptional trial lawyer who combines deep courtroom experience with an analytical approach that strengthens every case he touches,” said Ms. Rose, founder and president of Rose Law Group. “His leadership will be instrumental in guiding our litigation team as we continue to grow and take on increasingly complex matters for our clients.”

Before joining Rose Law Group, Mr. Gilson was a partner at a Phoenix law firm, where his practice included class actions, government investigations and business disputes. Earlier in his career, he served as a law clerk to two federal judges: the Honorable Thomas A. Flannery of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and the Honorable David B. Sentelle of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. He also practiced with an international firm in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Gilson is active in the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation, where he has held leadership roles for more than a decade. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Arizona Supreme Court and several other jurisdictions. He also attended Juilliard and is a classically trained pianist.
