By Sabrina Hulse | Business & Commerce
The Arizona Digital Free Press presents another in our new weekly restaurant features, coined “Adventures in Dining,” by Sabrina Hulse.
This week is Zona Cantina + Cocina, 5609 E. McKellips Road in Mesa.

Ms. Hulse says, “I love trying new food places and I have challenged myself to try every food place in the Mesa boundary and share my finds with all of you.”
Check back every weekend for a new restaurant feature.
You can watch her video about the restaurant HERE.
She says:
Zona Cantina + Cocina
Type: Mexican
Location: South side of McKellips between Higley and Recker roads.

Space: Sit down restaurant with lots of seating.
Our Order: Appetizers: Queso Fundido, Costa Azul Shrimp, Fresh Guac and Chips. Entrees: Fried Fish Tacos, Asada Burrito (enchilada style) Carne Asada Plate.
Thoughts: This is one of my all-time favorite Mexican restaurants. I loved my fish tacos and then I tried a bite of my husband’s burrito, and it was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted, and I’m not a huge burrito person but that’s what I will order next time! Sign up online and get free chips and salsa on your birthday.
Things to know: The portions are huge so you might be able to even share a meal.
Rating: 10 out of 10.
