The Greater Phoenix Chamber is announcing the 2024 ATHENA private sector, public sector, and young professional award recipients, which were presented at the annual ATHENA Awards presentation.

Jenny Holsman Tetreault, vice president & associate general counsel at TPI, was awarded the 2024 ATHENA Award in the private sector. Shannon Clancy, CEO, St. Vincent de Paul, earned the 2024 ATHENA Award in the public sector. Hillary Walsh, founder & lawyer, New Frontier Immigration Law, took home the 2024 ATHENA Young Professional Award.

“The Greater Phoenix Chamber’s ATHENA Awards celebrates the most inspiring women leaders in the Valley,” said Todd Sanders, president & CEO of the Greater Phoenix Chamber, in a prepared statement. “These influential women are dedicated to building a brighter future and ensuring our community remains strong. They embody the best of the Arizona business community, and we look forward to seeing how they will carry the legacy of ATHENA through their work.”

The ATHENA Awards, an internationally recognized honor through ATHENA International, recognizes women across the Valley for achievements in leadership, community service, and mentoring, Greater Phoenix Chamber officials tell the Digital Free Press.

“I am honored and humbled to be the private sector ATHENA recipient, and I look forward to working with the public sector and young professional recipients in the upcoming year,” says Jenny Holsman Tetreault, the private sector ATHENA Award recipient. “We have a lot of work to do and look forward to investing and working together to make our community stronger as a result of this team!”

Ms. Tetreault is a highly respected and innovative legal, business, and community leader with two decades of experience delivering strategic services in law firms and corporate and non-profit settings.

She is the VP and Associate General Counsel at TPI Composites and teaches at ASU School of Law while mentoring others and serving our community. Simultaneously, she is actively involved with 10 nonprofit boards, chairing three. She chaired/co-chaired three large fundraising events over the past year. Jenny is a role model and mentor to many people.

Ms. Clancy is the first woman CEO at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, which feeds, clothes, houses, and heals Arizonans in need while offering others a chance to serve. She leads 375 employees, who, together with volunteers, operate a network of food pantries, charity dining rooms, urban farms, shelters, family services, and a charity health clinic.

“I’m very honored and humbled by this award and I feel really grateful for the people I work alongside at St. Vincent De Paul and so many partners in the community that care about others,” Ms. Clancy said. “It’s a blessing for me to be surrounded by people who inspire me to be the best version of myself.”

Ms. Walsh helps immigrants who have survived human trafficking and domestic violence get their immigration documents. Through her experiences of suffering child abuse, being put in foster care, and serving a stint in lockup, Ms. Walsh became committed to fighting for the rights of others.

Hillary is also the founder of New Frontier Foundation, which provides free healing services to human trafficking and domestic violence survivors in Arizona.

“I feel very honored and humbled among the other nominees who are truly incredible!” Ms. Walsh said. “The best part of all this is seeing all the work we are all doing collectively.”
