A total of 47 drownings spurs Scottsdale Aquatics to action

Since January, a total of 47 people have drowned in Maricopa and Pinal counties according to the Children’s Safety Zone.
Scottsdale Aquatics is waiving enrollment fees for swim lessons throughout August for both residents and non-residents in recognition of Drowning Impact Awareness Month, according to a press release.
The free classes are available for children and adults ages six months and up.
