Village at Shea, a YAM Properties center at the northeast corner of Scottsdale Road and Shea Boulevard, has announced new tenant openings and renovations at one of Scottsdale’s busiest commercial intersections.
Arbor Pediatrics, formerly known as Scottsdale Children’s Group, recently opened its doors, while Coffee Plantation is nearing completion of a major renovation.
“YAM Properties is proud to welcome Arbor Pediatrics to Village at Shea,” said Marta Kenny, director of operations at YAM Properties. “The addition of a medical use marks an evolution in retail leasing by broadening our offerings beyond traditional retail. We are also celebrating the reopening of a Scottsdale staple, Coffee Plantation. This iconic local favorite will be reimagined with a fresh and elevated concept that honors its deep roots. Exciting changes are underway, and this is only the beginning,” Ms. Kenny said.
Arbor Pediatrics Shea, a division of Arbor Medical Partners, is committed to providing state-of-the-art pediatric care through a team of board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners and skilled staff. The practice also offers after-hours triage services for urgent care questions and medical advice.
Coffee Plantation, a locally based concept since 1989, will reopen in September following a major renovation. An anchor tenant at Village at Shea since 2005, the café is expanding its offerings to include coffee, tea, smoothies, and chef-driven food options such as salads, sandwiches and pastries. During renovations, Coffee Plantation continued serving guests on its patio.
“After more than a decade of ownership, we’re proud of the transformation and enhancements we’ve made at Village at Shea,” Ms. Kenny said. “Our commitment to evolving the center remains strong, and we look forward to continuing to curate a diverse, forward-thinking tenant line-up that reflects the needs and energy of our community.”
Village at Shea is also home to Harkins Theatres Shea 14, along with several retailers and restaurants including Pita Jungle, Coconuts Fish Café, Butterfield’s Pancake House, and Cook & Craft.
