Sun Valley Hotels purchases Peoria La Quinta Inn & Suites

Cushman & Wakefield brokered the sale of a 108-room La Quinta Inn & Suites hotel asset in Peoria, officials there say.
Found at 16321 N. 83rd Ave, the property sold to Toronto-based Sun Valley Hotels, according to a press release.
Bill Murney with Cushman & Wakefield’s Hospitality team in Phoenix represented the seller in the transaction, the release states.
“Sun Valley also previously bought and operates the Comfort Suites hotel located next door and is looking to gain operating efficiencies through complexing the two hotels,” said Executive Managing Director Bill Murney, in a prepared statement. “This is the fourth hotel sale that I have brokered involving Sun Valley as the buyer.”
La Quinta features a heated outdoor pool, fitness center, and wi-fi as well offers a convenient location off Loop 101.
The property is close to major amenities and venues including the Peoria Sports Complex, University of Phoenix Stadium, and Gila River Arena. It is also near Arrowhead Towne Center Mall, numerous golf courses, and an abundance of restaurants.
