Scottsdale History Hall of Fame salutes heroes of local community

The Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce presents the 29th annual Scottsdale History Hall of Fame event, which is scheduled for Tuesday, May 7.
The event honors individuals, local companies, and nonprofit organizations that have significantly contributed to the community’s development, Chamber officials tell the Digital Free Press.
The event is from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, at the Scottsdale Resort & Spa at 7700 E. McCormick Ranch Parkway.
Presented by event sponsor, the Scottsdale Charros, this event promises to be an unforgettable celebration of Scottsdale’s rich heritage.

“The interest in this year’s event is unprecedented,” said Doreen Reinke, Past President’s Council of the Chamber chairwoman. “We encourage those interested in sponsoring or attending to secure their tickets and sponsorships promptly to ensure their participation.”
The Scottsdale History Hall of Fame has honored 147 Scottsdale leaders and 31 organizations over the past 29 years, acknowledging their profound impact on the city’s heritage. From community leaders to nonprofit organizations, these honorees have helped shape Scottsdale into one of the nation’s premier cities.
The event will feature distinguished inductees, including Jim Ford, Jim Lane, Linda Milhaven, Raoul Zubia, Community Celebrating Diversity Foundation (CCD), and Nationwide.
