Since January, Ms. Johnson has been on special assignment supporting WestWorld, where she has become familiar with the facility’s operations while leading efforts to advance the WestWorld Strategic Plan, improve operational efficiency, modernize technology, strengthen internal controls, and support long-term financial and facility planning.
WestWorld hosts hundreds of events annually on its 386-acre campus, including equestrian competitions, automotive auctions, consumer and trade shows, sporting events, festivals and community celebrations, according to a press release.
“WestWorld is an important asset for Scottsdale, and Cassie has the experience, leadership and collaborative approach needed to build on the progress already underway,” Deputy City Manager Judy Doyle said. “She understands our organization, values strong partnerships and is committed to ensuring WestWorld continues serving our residents, event partners and visitors at the highest level.”
Ms. Johnson said she looks forward to continuing work with WestWorld staff and stakeholders.
