The Phoenix Symphony will host its annual Savor the Symphony fundraiser featuring a new “Disco Divas” theme.
The event will begin from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, at Symphony Hall and will give guests the opportunity to observe a working rehearsal and take part in a curated luncheon, according to a press release.
Proceeds will support the Symphony’s community engagement and education programs, which include school performances, hospital visits and music‑integrated learning initiatives serving students and community members throughout the Valley.
This year’s luncheon menu will be created by Chef Stephani O’Connor, who oversees culinary development for Fox Restaurant Concepts and previously served as director of culinary at Torchy’s Tacos. Ms. O’Connor has more than 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry.
Attendees will observe a rehearsal for Disco Divas, a program highlighting music and artists from the disco era. The event will also include opportunities for guests to hear from Phoenix Symphony musicians and artistic staff about the rehearsal process and the Symphony’s outreach work.
The 2026 Savor the Symphony luncheon is co‑chaired by Cathy Stein, president of Concorde Travel Management, and Meghan Cox, chief executive officer of Impact Advocacy Group and Groundgame Political Solutions. Ms. Stein has held leadership roles with several Arizona nonprofit organizations, while Ms. Cox has served on multiple civic and nonprofit boards.
“Savor the Symphony brings our community together around musical excellence, exceptional cuisine, and shared passion for the arts,” Mr. Kjome said. “Support from this annual event enables us to enrich lives through music, including more than 100,000 students and other Arizonans each year as part of our Community Engagement & Education programs,” said Peter Kjome, president and chief executive officer of The Phoenix Symphony.
