Cambria Hotels broke ground on a new hotel development in Mesa, marking the brand’s expansion into the city.
The four‑story, 107‑room Cambria Hotel Mesa will include a rooftop restaurant and bar open to the public, along with a lobby bar, outdoor pool, fitness center, meeting rooms and electric vehicle charging stations, according to a press release.
Developers include Aspect Hospitality Group, Clarity Strategic Opportunities and O’Reilly Hospitality LLC. The hotel will be located at 3501 S. Ellsworth Road and is expected to open in early 2027. O’Reilly Hospitality Management LLC will oversee day‑to‑day operations.

City officials said the project supports continued growth in southeast Mesa.
“The addition of the Cambria Hotel Mesa strengthens our position in the region and adds an asset that will benefit visitors, employers and residents alike,” Mayor Mark Freeman said. “It’s exciting to see this corridor continue to evolve, and we appreciate O’Reilly Hospitality for recognizing the potential here and choosing to invest in Mesa”.
Vice Mayor Scott Somers said the development reflects broader momentum in the area.
“Today’s groundbreaking for the Cambria Hotel reflects the momentum we’re seeing across southeast Mesa,” Mr. Somers said. “As travel league sports, a growing business community and other regional draws continue to grow, so does demand for elevated hospitality options. I’m thrilled to welcome Cambria to District 6 and am confident they will meet the needs of today’s visitors.”
Project partners cited long‑term confidence in Mesa’s economic development.
