ProteinHouse is announcing all Arizona locations are now under new ownership.
As experienced restaurant operators, marketing and hospitality experts, co-franchise owners Eric Greenwald and Cody Starrett seek to expand the brand’s presence in Arizona, according to a press release.
Mr. Greenwald brings over 30 years of hospitality experience to ProteinHouse. He served as president of Grimaldi’s Pizzeria/Forno Suprema for over 19 years, where under his leadership, Grimaldi’s ballooned from a single Arizona pizzeria to 43 corporate stores in 12 states.
He also worked for 10 years with the Mastro Restaurant Group, where his final role was director of operations.
Additionally, Mr. Greenwald chaired the National Restaurant Association’s Pizzeria Industry Council, and was on the advisory board for charitable organization Share Our Strength’s program No Kid Hungry. Greenwald currently owns a local neighborhood classic, Lorenzo’s Italian Kitchen in North Scottsdale.
“I’m thrilled to spearhead growth of this brand in Arizona,” Mr. Greenwald said. “ProteinHouse is all about living well through the food we fuel with, and our goal is to reimagine healthy eating into something that’s fun and accessible.”
Mr. Starrett is founder of Starrett Inc., a multi-faceted venture capital firm specializing in hospitality, outdoor media, real estate and data-driven customer content.
Mr. Starrett is a digital marketing expert whose keen pulse on global food trends and customer tastes is intended to revitalize the brand. He also serves as a current managing partner for upscale restaurant STK Scottsdale.
“Digital marketing is all about building excitement and engagement, and I’m very excited to continue ProteinHouse’s momentum of growth in Arizona,” Mr. Starrett said. “Most of all, we want people to know that healthy eating is possible for everybody, whether it’s opting for a salad or enjoying a breakfast shake.”
