Real estate entrepreneur Michael Pollack — who is a businessperson by trade, but a philanthropist at heart — is announcing what he thinks could be the greatest movie deal of summer 2022.
Starting Friday, June 23 through July 28 local moviegoers can join the 2022 Summer Movie Club at Pollack Tempe Cinemas, which is $5 per person, and allows guests to see one movie per week as part of promotion, according to a press release.
The theater is open Wednesday through Sunday, the release states.
The 2022 Summer Movie Club tickets are on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Pollack Tempe Cinema Box Office, 1825 E. Elliot Road in Tempe.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and showings start at noon. Those who are not interested in participating in the Summer Movie Club can still purchase and attend movies at the regular admission price of $3.50 per ticket, the release
“We know inflation is at a record high rate and gas prices are the highest they’ve ever been, so we wanted to do something extra special for our community this summer and take the financial burden off of those who want to come and see a movie,” said Mr. Pollack in a prepared statement.
“This is a great way for families to spend time together and stay cool indoors. This year it is especially great to host this program because the theater has been closed over the previous two summers, and we just finished completing a million-dollar renovation on the theater.”
The movies offered for this Summer Movie Club special include:
•Secret Life of Pets 2.
•Minions.
•Trolls 2: World Tour.
•Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
•The Croods: A New Age.
•Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway.
•Hotel Transylvania; and
•Boss Baby 2: Family Business.
