OrthoArizona is announcing a significant expansion initiative that will bring its world-class musculoskeletal care to more communities throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area.

By 2027, OrthoArizona plans to open five new facilities and expand four existing locations, reinforcing its mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care close to home, according to a press release.

Already operating across 36 sites, OrthoArizona’s expansion includes the addition of surgical centers, comprehensive clinics, advanced imaging services, and physical therapy locations—ensuring a fully integrated continuum of care from diagnosis to recovery, the release states.

“Since our founding in 1994, OrthoArizona has been committed to providing exceptional orthopedic care with expertise and compassion,” said Dr. Rajan Bhatt, chief executive officer of OrthoArizona. “This expansion reflects our continued investment in the communities we serve, meeting rising demand while setting a new standard for convenience and quality in musculoskeletal medicine.”

Appointed CEO in late 2024, Dr. Bhatt brings over 15 years of healthcare leadership experience to the organization.

“As a physician-led organization, we remain focused on clinical excellence and innovation. This expansion empowers our providers to deliver the most advanced treatments, close to where our patients live and work,” Dr. Caleb Behrend, president of OrthoArizona, said in a prepared statement. “We are excited to deepen our relationships in these growing communities and continue setting the bar for orthopedic care in Arizona.”
