One Step Beyond is announcing the election of Snell & Wilmer Partner, Howard Sobelman, to its board of directors.
One Step Beyond’s mission is to provide programs and services that empower individuals with intellectual disabilities to achieve optimal independence, meaningful employment, significant social relationships, and full participation in the community, according to a press release.
The organization’s programs focus on life skills, employment readiness, culinary skills, education, fitness and the arts, the release states.
“I am deeply honored to join the board of this incredible organization,” Mr. Sobelman said in a prepared statement. “Empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities is a mission I am passionate about and I am committed to leveraging my experience and resources to help One Step Beyond further its community services.”
Mr. Sobelman’s intellectual property practice concentrates on patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, licensing, and due diligence.
His experience and knowledge include working with an array of technologies such as blockchain technologies, big data, software, hardware, internet, business methods, aerospace, solar tracking, financial services, financial planning, insurance products, medical products, mechanical, biotechnology, fiber optics, holography, among many others.
