Aging adults continue to be in need, experiencing isolation and loneliness daily in Scottsdale, the Town of Paradise Valley and surrounding communities of the Phoenix metropolitan area.
Duet Partners In Health & Aging remains committed to serving aging adults through programs, services and working every day to fulfill their mission of promoting health and well-being through vitally needed services to homebound adults, family caregivers and grandfamilies, representatives there say.
The Give65 Event, which is hosted by Home Instead Charities, provides an opportunity to rally community support for older adults served by Duet programs. From July 11 to 14, Duet is participating in a 65-hour online giving event exclusively for charitable organizations serving aging adults.

The generosity of Phoenix metropolitan community helps to power the mission of Duet, nonprofit officials report.
To continue serving aging adults, we are asking for support during the Give65 Event. Home Instead Charities is offering matching funds, with each organization participating in the Give65 Event eligible to receive up to $5,000 in matching dollars, while funds are available.
“Give65 allows us to highlight the needs of older adults, help aging adults in our community, and raise critical dollars which allow us to provide our services free of charge,” says Ann Wheat, executive director of Duet. “Our vision is a community where every person ages with compassion, dignity and hope. The Give65 Event is a great way for the community to help turn this vision into reality.”
The 65-hour Give65 Event begins at 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, and concludes at 11 p.m. July 13.
“Through services offered by Duet, aging adults are supported and celebrated in their aging journey. We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Duet for the eighth-annual Give65 Event. The charitable sector serves a critical role in supporting aging adults in need, helping them to age with independence and dignity, and we thank all of those who financially support this important work,” says Jisella Dolan, chair of the board of Home Instead Charities.
