Delta Dental of Arizona has announced that Barb Kozuh, executive director of the Delta Dental of Arizona Foundation, has been appointed to the Arizona Impact for Good Board of Directors.
Arizona Impact for Good is a statewide nonprofit membership organization that supports and advocates for Arizona’s nonprofit and philanthropy sectors, serving more than 1,000 member organizations, according to a press release.
In her board role, Ms. Kozuh will help support the organization’s work to unite nonprofits and philanthropy through education, advocacy and innovation. She will also serve on the group’s Governance Committee.
Ms. Kozuh joined Delta Dental of Arizona in 2013 and has focused on expanding access to health and wellness for underserved communities while advocating for medical‑dental integration. She has led the Delta Dental of Arizona Foundation since 2018.
Under her direction, the foundation has directed more than $13 million in local grants and investments, created the Banner Health Foundation Hospital Oral Care and Periodontal Disease Education Program, launched the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Delta Dental Oral Health Education Program and most recently formed a partnership with the University of Arizona College of Medicine–Phoenix to create the Oral Health in Medicine Initiative.
In addition to her work with the Foundation and her role with Arizona Impact for Good, Ms. Kozuh serves on the Delta Dental Institute Advisory Council and the Corporate Volunteer Council Board, and is a member of the Arizona Oral Health Coalition.
She has received several recognitions for her work in business, health care and philanthropy, including being named one of the Most Influential Women in Arizona Business by AZ Business Magazine and receiving the Arizona Woman Achievers Award from AZ Capitol Times in 2024.
