Coffee Plantation, a longtime Valley favorite since the 1980s, will celebrate its grand reopening following a major renovation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at 7366 E. Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale.
The event will feature live music, complimentary tastings of new menu items and a first look at the café’s refreshed interior, according to a press release.
“Our goal was not just to preserve the lovable aspects of Coffee Plantation from back in the day but also to transform it into a destination where people can sit down, enjoy delicious meals alongside their favorite coffees and feel at home,” said Omar Karkoutli, owner of Coffee Plantation.
For decades, Coffee Plantation has served as more than a coffee shop — it has been a community gathering space. Recognizing a growing demand for cafés that offer both premium coffee and healthy, satisfying meals, the owners reimagined the space and menu to meet evolving tastes and dietary needs.
The renovation is the most significant in the café’s history, transforming it into a full-service destination representatives of the brand tell the Digital Free Press.
The updated interior features oak beams, a sage green backsplash and hanging plants, creating a warm, organic atmosphere designed for relaxation and connection.
The new menu draws inspiration from global culinary traditions and includes:
•Lavender Matcha and Pistachio Matcha
•Dubai Chocolate and Strawberry Dessert Cups
•Scandinavian Salmon Eggs Benedict
•Fresh salads, wraps and made-to-order crepes and waffles
Coffee beans are locally sourced from a Valley roaster, reinforcing Coffee Plantation’s commitment to supporting small businesses. A new state-of-the-art espresso machine has also been installed to elevate beverage quality.
“Creating this new menu was truly a labor of love,” Mr. Karkoutli said. “We listened closely to our loyal guests’ feedback and worked diligently to deliver exactly what they wanted.”
