Officials at City Hall say many of Scottsdale’s largest and most innovative projects, initiatives and programs were driven by the hopes and ideas of residents and business owners.

Today, municipal leaders say they provide more opportunities than ever for community stakeholders to shape Scottsdale’s future by voicing their opinions about various local issues and projects.

Scottsdale officials say they want resident feedback this season on two important public projects.

  • Parks & Recreation Master Plan: Your feedback in this online questionnaire will help ensure future parks and recreation priorities and goals are citizen-driven and meet the evolving demands of the community. The questionnaire is available in English and Spanish.
  • Community Assistance Office: Provide your feedback to help the city prioritize federal funds to assist low-to-moderate income individuals and families in our community via Speak Up Scottsdale.

Citizen volunteers play a critical role in supporting the city’s mission to provide “Simply better service for a world-class community.” There are a variety of opportunities available throughout the year for citizens to volunteer and have a real-life impact on the place they call home.

Scottsdale EZ: Spotted an issue around town with city facilities or services? From the first-of-its-kind public art along the Loop 101 corridor to the revolutionary technology that created the Indian Bend Wash Greenbelt, major projects in every part of the city came to life because of feedback from people who cared enough to have their voices heard throughout the city’s history.
