CHASSE Building Team, an employee-owned and operated general contractor that oversees more than $620 million in construction projects across Arizona annually, kicked off the holiday season early by hosting CHASSE-giving, an annual event where employees volunteer to help the local community.

This year, more than 80 team members and partners participated leading up to Thanksgiving, making it the organization’s largest effort to date, according to a press release.

Altogether, the team assembled 2,200 holiday meal boxes for local families. Each box contained pumpkin pies, traditional holiday side dishes and other items. Since founding the event in 2021, CHASSE has donated nearly 10,000 meal boxes.

“Supporting families who need it most this time of year is at the heart of CHASSE-giving,” said Taylor Perkins of CHASSE Building Team.

“By working directly with school districts across the southeast, west and north valleys, we can connect these Thanksgiving boxes with families who truly need them. As a builder working across Arizona in the K-12 space, as well as parents ourselves, creating programs that ease the burden on students and their families is a privilege we take seriously.”

According to Mr. Perkins, this marks CHASSE’s fifth year partnering with local school districts on the program, which is one of the company’s many giving initiatives across the state.

The general contractor has supported more than 100 organizations throughout Arizona, contributing more than $4.5 million through fundraising, donations and sponsorships. Additionally, CHASSE volunteers an average of 4,000 hours annually through company-wide and individual efforts.

“At CHASSE, our work is about more than bricks and mortar,” said Mr. Perkins. “We take pride in building projects that strengthen Arizona, but we are just as committed to uplifting the people who live here. This community is our home, and we feel a responsibility to invest our time, resources and support into helping families thrive. When we work together, our impact becomes so much greater.”

The team nearly doubled its donation this year thanks to support from partners including Select Interiors, Stone Cold Masonry, S&H Steel, Sound Crete Concrete, Progressive Roofing and others.
