The Arizona Hospitality Careers Hub will serve as a unified digital hub connecting every part of Arizona’s vibrant hospitality ecosystem.

The platform will cater to the needs of hospitality and tourism businesses, job seekers, educators, and workforce organizations simultaneously, fostering communication and collaboration across the industry. The platform launched Sept. 14. The platform is available to students, job seekers, and employers statewide.

The Arizona Hospitality Careers Hub — which utilizes the Pipeline AZ skills mapping technology and resources — connect students and job seekers to career paths through a partnership with Arizona Lodging & Tourism Association.

“Tourism is an essential part of Arizona’s success. The industry is thriving, but to remain strong and vibrant, we must ensure that we’re cultivating the talent to meet the demands of this growing sector,” said Kim Grace Sabow, president and CEO of the Arizona Lodging & Tourism Association. “The Arizona Hospitality Careers Hub is the perfect platform to link jobseekers, with employers offering exciting careers in a dynamic business full of opportunities.”

Arizona tourism is growing as the state is a host of major sporting events such as Superbowl LVII and the upcoming 2024 NCAA Men’s Final Four, the location of many new corporate headquarters, as well as Arizona’s many natural wonders such as the Grand Canyon.

According to research conducted by the Common Sense Institute in 2022, the sports and tourism sector contributed $24.2 billion to Arizona’s Real Gross Domestic Product. The research also found that over 360,000 Arizonans are directly and indirectly employed by Arizona’s sports and tourism sector.

“The tourism and hospitality industry is a great place to build a career, offering many different experiences and opportunities,” said Mary Foote, CEO of Pipeline AZ. “The Arizona Hospitality Careers Hub showcases the variety of careers from entry-level to upper management positions and all of the competitive benefits available through a career in hospitality.”
