The Arizona Association of REALTORS has donated $29,000 to the Arizona Housing Fund, including $14,000 generated through proceeds from the association’s Homes for All specialty license plate program.
The funds will support housing initiatives serving more than 13,000 people experiencing homelessness across Arizona, according to a press release.
“The Arizona Association of REALTORS has been among our biggest supporters since the Fund was created in 2019,” Howard Epstein, founder of the Arizona Housing Fund, said. “One hundred percent of this donation, just like every donation we receive, will go directly toward grant funding for established nonprofits building affordable and supportive housing units in Arizona.”
The Arizona REALTORS specialty license plate, launched in 2023, provides financial support to the Arizona REALTORS® Foundation for Housing and Community Outreach. Seventeen dollars from each plate sold is directed toward housing projects focused on improving access to and availability of housing in communities across the state.
“The Arizona REALTORS is grateful for the opportunity to further support access to affordable housing projects across our state,” Scott Drucker, CEO of the Arizona REALTORS, said. “We encourage those wanting to help provide stable housing for vulnerable populations to purchase a Homes for All specialty plate. When choosing this plate, you help reduce homelessness by funding initiatives like the Arizona Housing Fund.”
