The Arabian Horse Association of Arizona is announcing the return of the Arabian National Breeder Finals at the equidome of WestWorld in Scottsdale.
“We are excited to welcome the international Arabian horse community and enthusiasts alike back to Scottsdale,” said Melissa Schalles, executive director of the Arabian Horse Association of Arizona, in a prepared statement.
“This event is where the wild west meets elegance. The free experience features boutique-style horse competitions that include halter and performance competitions. This show also features a weanling class where you can watch the youngest horses compete.”
The Arabian National Breeder Finals is a show that offers an exciting stage for these horses to compete. The focus of this year’s event is “United We Stand” – to showcase the versatility of the Arabian breed.
The Arabian National Breeder Finals competition consists of a series of different performances, called classes, where some of the best Arabian and halter horses in the world will compete for over $100,000 in prize money and the coveted title of finals champion.
“On Saturday, we have three classes — Arabian and half-Arabian performance classes that are sure to be exciting. This will be a special evening, as we will be offering $5000 in prize money for each of these unique performance classes,” Ms. Schalles said. “We look forward to seeing people from all over the world, right here in Scottsdale. With so much to do – visiting Old Town, shopping at Fashion Square and observing the best the Arabian breed has to offer, it makes for the perfect destination.”
The Arabian National Breeder Finals runs from Sept. 11 to 14 at the Equidome at WestWorld, 16601 N. Pima Road in Scottsdale. Admission is free.
