iNSPIRE, Mark-Taylor Residential’s corporate social responsibility program, partnered with Feed My Starving Children at the end of April, National Volunteer Month, to prepare food packages for children in need.
Approximately 100 employees participated in the event, providing 20,736 meals for starving children across the world. These boxes of food ensure that nearly 60 children are fed daily throughout the year, according to a press release.
An integral component of Mark-Taylor is to encourage employees and leadership alike to participate in events that foster a sense of community and belonging. Their iNSPIRE initiative ensures that Mark-Taylor leaves an imprint on communities in need beyond its doorsteps.
iNSPIRE champions four main causes: Easing hunger, honoring the military, aiding the homeless, and ongoing support. This event is a precursor to other 2025 company-wide volunteer opportunities.
“We are proud of our employees who want to make a meaningful difference in the world, and we will continue to provide them with opportunities to do so,” said Kurtis Strauel, senior director of human resources. “iNSPIRE is a cornerstone of our culture at Mark-Taylor and we’re happy to have so many employees who believe in our mission and values, committing to working together to support the communities around us.”
