A new woman-owned boutique is set to join Old Town Scottsdale’s retail landscape this fall when Marea opens its doors in October at 4242 N. Craftsman Court.
Founded by Mara Levin, the independent retailer will offer women’s apparel, accessories and home accents, bringing a locally founded shopping concept to one of Scottsdale’s busiest retail districts, according to a press release.
Marea is the culmination of Ms. Levin’s experience in beauty marketing, recruiting, design, entrepreneurship and fashion retail. The boutique also fulfills a goal she has held since middle school to own and operate her own retail business.
The store plans to differentiate itself through personal styling services and a relationship-based approach to customer service, according to a press release.
The opening comes as Old Town Scottsdale continues to attract a mix of locally owned retailers, restaurants and experiential businesses, helping shape the district’s evolving identity as both a shopping and entertainment destination.
Ms. Levin said the decision to open the boutique in Old Town was driven by the area’s unique character and customer base. She is available to discuss the store’s concept, the reasons for selecting Old Town as its home and the experience Marea aims to create for shoppers.
The boutique’s addition represents another locally owned business entering Scottsdale’s retail market ahead of the holiday shopping season.
