Former Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb officially launched his campaign for Arizona’s 5th Congressional District at an event on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2025, at Pecan Lake Entertainment in the heart of District 5.
The seat is being vacated by Congressman Andy Biggs.
The rally was hosted by event chairs Shelina and Glenn Way and a committee of community leaders. Hundreds of supporters attended to hear from the conservative leader, according to a press release.
Introduced by his wife, Janel Lamb, the former sheriff energized the crowd with a clear message:
“We need more common sense in Congress and more representatives who will stand up for the people of CD5,” said Mr. Lamb. “I know the faith, family and freedom values my neighbors hold dear — and I will never let them down.”
Endorsed by former President Donald J. Trump and House Speaker Mike Johnson, Lamb enters the race with grassroots support and a record of leadership and public service.
“Mark Lamb is the kind of conservative fighter America needs — tough, honest and loyal to the people he serves,” said Mr. Way, event co-chair.
The Arizona primary election will take place Monday, Aug. 4, 2026, followed by the general election Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026.
