On the heels of its opening at Scottsdale Quarter, Sweetgreen is expanding in the Valley with a second location opening at Camelback and 32nd Street in Phoenix.
Sweetgreen, a restaurant brand known for serving salads, warm bowls and protein plates, launched its first Arizona location at Scottsdale Quarter earlier this year. The Phoenix opening marks another step in the company’s nationwide expansion.
“We’re thrilled by the incredible response to our Scottsdale Quarter opening and grateful to be welcomed so warmly by the community,” said Chief Operating Officer Jason Cochran. “Building on that momentum, we’re even more excited to open our doors at Camelback and 32nd in Phoenix.”
Each Sweetgreen location features open kitchens and source boards that highlight local partners and purveyors, according to the release. Menu items include the Harvest Bowl and Crispy Rice Bowl, along with seasonal offerings such as the Autumn Caesar and Ranchy Baddie Bowl. New house-made beverages include flavors like strawberry mint, ginger greens and hibiscus berry tea.
The seasonal Sweet Potato Cauliflower Bowl will debut on opening day and includes garlic parmesan cauliflower, caramelized onions, romesco sauce, basil vinaigrette, shredded kale, wild rice, sweet potatoes and garlic breadcrumbs.
As part of its community engagement efforts, Sweetgreen will donate one meal to St. Mary’s Food Bank for every meal purchased on opening day. Guests can also enjoy music from a vinyl-spinning DJ, samples from Negranti Creamery and Sweetgreen merchandise giveaways.
The 2,865-square-foot restaurant will seat up to 30 guests indoors and 24 on the patio. Orders can be placed in-store, online at order.sweetgreen.com, or through the Sweetgreen app.
The app includes access to Sweetpass, the brand’s loyalty program offering personalized challenges, discounts and merchandise drops.
Sweetgreen Camelback and 32nd is at 3221 E. Camelback Road.
