The 2025 All Indian Rodeo, hosted by the San Carlos Apache Tribe, brought together Native cowboys and cowgirls for two days of thrilling competition and cultural celebration.

Against the backdrop of the Apache Gold Casino Events Center, contestants showcased their skills in bull riding, saddle bronc, barrel racing, and team roping — events that reflect a deep connection to the land and livestock traditions passed down through generations.

For the San Carlos Apache people, horsemanship and rodeo culture are intertwined with values of resilience, community, and respect for nature.

The rodeo coincided with the tribe’s Veterans Fair, honoring Apache and Native American service members through a parade, pow wow, and traditional songs.

Families gathered to cheer on junior and senior divisions, making the event not only a showcase of athleticism but also a living expression of Apache identity and pride.
