As one of the deadliest states for teen driving fatalities, Arizona presents unique risks that can be mitigated with proper training.
DrivingMBA, a locally owned driving school with locations in Scottsdale and Glendale, is dedicated to equipping young drivers with the critical skills needed to navigate these dangers safely.
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, traffic fatalities remain alarmingly high, with teens making up a significant portion of crash-related injuries and deaths.
“As spring arrives, teens are often driving in new and challenging conditions, including busier roads, social distractions, and changing weather patterns,” said Maria Wojtczak, owner of DrivingMBA. “Our program ensures that young drivers have the confidence and preparation to make safe choices behind the wheel.”
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that motor vehicle crashes remain the leading cause of death for teens aged 16-19. This age group’s fatal crash rate is nearly three times higher than that of drivers 20 and older, with newly licensed drivers at the highest risk, a press release states.
DrivingMBA provides an innovative approach to driver education, utilizing advanced simulation technology to train teens in a controlled environment before they encounter real-world dangers. Its comprehensive curriculum includes a Driving Fundamentals Simulation Lab and a Defensive Driving Simulation Lab, allowing students to build confidence and develop essential driving skills without the risks of on-road trial and error, the release states.
“Parents invest in their teens’ education, extracurricular activities, and future careers,” Mr. Wojtczak said. “But one of the most important investments they can make is ensuring their child has the knowledge and skills to drive safely. At DrivingMBA, we go beyond minimum licensing requirements to create responsible, prepared drivers.”
